If there's one thing that I can't stand, its people who purposely try to ruin others relationships- just for their own fun and satisfaction.
Even perfectly platonic relationships.
Can anyone explain to me why someone would want to do this? The relationship has nothing to do with them, nothing at all. Its not hurting anyone, least of all the person who is trying to ruin it. Let's give an example.
I have a friend, and because I like to give everyone codenames- we'll call him Red.
Now, Red is in Canada. He's always been in Canada, and we've never met. But we're pretty close friends, I would say. We aren't besties and we haven't known each other very long, but I value his friendship. I really do.
Someone decided to try and ruin it.
And I'm not naming names, but I will tell you this.
-The Ruiner is a guy
-He's not affected by the relationship
-And he's not gay
He told me lies, that caused me to get angry with Red. He told me that Red wasn't interested in being friends with me anymore because he was in love with someone else.
Let's get things straight. I did like Red as more than a friend at one point. But that was a long time ago and I've moved on since them. So the fact that he loves someone else does not cause undue stress on my part. I'm happy for him.
Honest.
But naturally, I was quite angry that Red was talking to him, and that he didn't want to be friends with me anymore. When I finally did chew him out, we realized that it was a misunderstanding. So Red and I are cool, because I understand that he never meant to hurt me.
But me and the person that caused all of this...
That's a different story.
