This Chick Here: Things That Make Me Mad

So, I definitely wasn't planning to write this today, but current events deemed it necessary.

Things that make me angry.

Not just "oh yeah that's annoying" type angry but  "c'mere so I can rip your throat out" type angry.

Number One.
Being scared into waking up.

I HATE that. I might be having a really nice dream, a terrifying nightmare or just be ASLEEP and suddenly there's a voice yelling over the intercom SCREAMING for me to get up. I don't care what time it is, unless the house is ON FIRE or there is some sort of emergency- there is no need to scream for me to get up. The intercom is loud enough by itself, I usually wake up when people use it normally. If I don't, you can't just ask someone to wake me up? Really?

I woke up shaking this morning because my sister did that. I nearly had a heart attack, next time she has to get up, guess what's going to happen?

I mean even cold water in the face is more pleasant than that.

Number Two.
Being accused of things.

If I did it, fine. But if there is no reasonable cause for you to accuse me of doing something- DON'T SAY I DID IT. And don't tell me that I did when I just SAID I didn't do it.

That's pretty self explanatory.

Number Three

I hate liars.
'Nuff said.

On a side note:
I hate how A Prayer For Owen Meany is over

600 PAGES LONG

I mean, I have read books that long, but I like to make that decision for myself. I don't want to be forced into it by Summer Reading. Just something about required reading irks me, suddenly I lose all desire.

*sigh*

Now that I'm done ranting, I promise to write something more constructive later.
Trust me, it'll be better once school actually starts.

WOAH YOU HAVE AN INTERCOM IN YOUR HOUSE??? COOL!

Insensitivity over. I definitely do feel your pain, especially as far as "required reading" is concerned. I remember having to read "the Fountainhead" (which I would never have ever picked up even if it wasn't required) a few summers back...ughh.

Well anyways, good luck! hope things start going better for you!

Haha yeah we do. Its so my grandma doesn't have to yell for things. But besides that.. rant over, things should be okay lol.

Totally get the waking up thing. This morning my sister slammed the front door really loudly and I almost fell out of bed. It's not fun to go from happily unconscious to adrenaline rush in 5 seconds.

Aww, you get to read a Prayer for Owen Meany? It's still on my To Read list.

But yeah, when it's long, I have to give myself 'assignments' which kinda kills some of the fund. See also: Dickens' Bleak House. See also: Eliot's Middlemarch (ah, the joys of being an English major).

Oh, and I once had a really nice dream interrupted by a maintenance guy with a really thick accident keying into my dorm room at 9 a.m. on a Saturday. Balls.

Liars are very annoying, especially when you believed them and were like THIS (imagine someone crossing their fingers) before you discovered their infuriating, ah, habit.

Also, an amendment to the "I hate being accused of stuff" thing -- I hate it when people keep coming back to make sure you didn't do something. "Are you sure you didn't do it? I'd rather you tell me the truth than lie about it." I AM TELLING THE TRUTH. SEETH.

OMG. Yes, that too!

I cannot stand liars. I think the single most annoying thing for me is being lied to. Even if it's a good lie, or a harmless little white lie. I have this insane honesty policy, and I absolutely NEED to know the truth, no matter how bad it is.

..So, yeah, I hear ya.
